To rethinking and redesigning education worldwide with the mission of empowering all human beings with the competences and skills to navigate the complexity of our world. Focusing on peace, sustainability and accessible education for all, the partnership works cohesively to define new pathways to decolonize education and establish a global sense of empathy and belonging.

Global Change Academy is a global initiative that gathers professionals and organizations from around the world to reimagine and transform education, promoting resilient, upskilled and more equitable communities and to make education accessible to all.
Leveraging the power of education, the Academy envisions a more equitable, sustainable and thriving society and a better life on earth.
With a global perspective of change, the partnership works towards defining new pathways of formal and non-formal education that equip younger generations with the social, emotional, environmental, digital, and cognitive competences needed to navigate and address the complex challenges of our modern world.
Ensuring that change happens in a holistic way, the Academy also develops transformative pathways to empower and upskill communities beyond formal education, through meaningful and relevant opportunities for life-long learning.

For this reason, Global Change Academy promotes a global dynamic partnership formed by organizations and single individuals from different countries and cultures, who believe in a better world, and want to dedicate their work and/or personal lives to this goal.
The partnership privileges dialogue and collaboration, accommodating multiple perspectives, global common values and ensuring a high-quality, accessible, and meaningful education to all.

Priscila Doran
Co-Founder of the Global Change Academy
She/Her – Vice-president of the Executive Council of NUCLIO.
Priscila has a solid expertise in the field of education and innovation for a better world. She has developed and carried out many teacher training courses, spreading knowledge about the power of education to shape the future of mankind.
Rosa Doran
Co-Founder of the Global Change Academy
She/ Her – President of the Executive Council of NUCLIO.
Rosa dedicates her life to making this world a better place through Astronomy and Education. She founded NUCLIO in 2001 and has been recognized as the worlds’ best Astronomy Educator by the International Astronomical Union in 2023.
David Sousa
Working Group Leader
He/Him – Project developer and coordinator in NUCLIO.
David is an enthusiastic advocate for sustainability and climate action. He is a teacher trainer at NUCLIO and a co-founder of the Dryland Agroforestry Center, and an activist for nature rights at heart.
